In our pension plan, you accrue retirement pension for yourself. We also reserve pension for your partner (if you have one). Your partner will receive this partner’s pension when you die. Are you single on your retirement date? Then we will convert the partner’s pension into extra retirement pension for you. You will receive a statement from us showing your new pension.

What should you do?

• Do you want to retire at 68? You do not need to take any action. You will receive an application form well before you retire. On that form you can indicate that you want to convert the partner’s pension into extra retirement pension.
• Do you want to retire early? Then please contact us at least 6 months before you wish to retire.
